The one who had sounded the shriek sat bolt upright in his bed, pink locks disheveled, and tear-streaked eyes bloodshot. The meister slowly curled his legs up to his chin, shivering at the treachery his mind had just dreamed up. He bit down on his quivering lower lip as he futilely tried to hold his tears in, until he had given up and they ran coldly down his cheeks. Weak whimpers of guilt escaped his closed mouth.

As My Black Heart Beats (An SE CroMa Fanfic)Darkness coated day as a black shroud, seeping in every last drop of light until the world was blind. A specific pink-haired meister stood in the cruel midst of it, indulging in the sweet cool breath of the nightly abyss. Like a drug, it swept throughout his entire being, soothing his troubled mind, and putting his conscience at ease. The subtle pulse of his faint black heart's beat gently lulled him to an unconscious state of moral sleep, his body still being used, but as a puppet's would. The lullaby of the heartbeat then stopped altogether, no longer needed; as his body was already in possession of the demon within him.

I think this is the closest that I've gotten his anatomy right. Though his arms look a bit long. The low jeans must've confused me on how far his hands were supposed to go.
Yes. Baggy pants: Easier to draw, and they look beautiful on his curvaceous hips.
His forearm says DON'T DISAPPOINT, if you can't read it.

I really love watching you get better and better. The anatomy is actually very good! His arms are not that bad either. Also i like what you did with the pants. You actually did a great job at making a baggy effect. Though they don't seem fit right on his hips, they seem way too low. Also his navel should probably be a little higher up.
I think you're really processing! Love this drawing! Make sure to practice a lot! I can't wait to see more work from you! :3

Thanks! Yeah, I agree; it seems my inner fangirl made his pants way too low again.

Sounds weird, but I've also been trying to the position of the navel in comparison to the hipline, so I guess I always draw the bellybutton too far down.

I'll work on that! For a while, I was looking up a lot of anatomy references, and "studying" the anime to combine his natural body shape with correct anatomy.

The scale may be slightly off but in general the drawing is quite nice. It's somewhat nice to see I wasn't the only one to expect some form of branding on Crona. It just seems soooo...predictable for Medusa to leave some marks on him as a reminder. "Don't Disappoint" being a rather nice way of reminding someone that failure is unacceptable.

In that same vein however, I always figured Crona would have quite a few scars. Given the quality of his existence. Though I suppose that is my inference, and not actually a bit of canon.

And now that you mention it, I think the arms is a fairly appropriate position. My hands fall just slightly below my waste, it's not too strange.

Yes, it's be natural to presume that he'd have many scars, but I'd always just thought that his black blood would have somewhat of a healing effect on them. Or maybe not, who knows?

As for Crona, well, you're probably right. The black blood would likely cause him to not retain the scars.The only one who knows is Atsushi, and he seems to enjoy trolling us all when it comes to Crona.
